What if the future of aviation doesn’t start in major airports…but in the regions that are hardest to reach? ✈️
Across Europe, many regional territories still face significant mobility challenges – from mountainous regions to islands and rural areas.
Through the PRIAM project, partners are exploring how Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) could improve regional connectivity.
Using advanced data analytics, mobility modelling and infrastructure optimisation, the project investigates how IAM could be integrated into regional transport systems.
Some insights are surprising.
For example, PRIAM modelling suggests that travellers may value one hour of travel time savings in IAM at around €117 – highlighting how strongly time influences mobility choices.
