- 2 min read
The PRIAM project will be presented at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, taking place in Budapest from 18–21 May 2026. During the conference, partners from Transport & Mobility Leuven will showcase a poster titled “Who Will Take Innovative Air Mobility? Modelling IAM Demand for Regional Access.”
Exploring the Future of Regional Accessibility
The poster presents research on how Innovative Air Mobility (IAM) could enhance regional accessibility and support more connected transport systems. The work focuses on modelling potential demand for IAM services, identifying who is most likely to use these solutions, under which conditions adoption may occur, and where demand is expected to emerge.
By examining these factors, the PRIAM project contributes valuable insights into the role IAM could play within future regional mobility networks. The findings aim to support policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders in understanding how emerging air mobility services may complement existing transport infrastructure.
